To Blog or Not to Blog - that is the question
Well, in this case the answer is definitely Blog! I may not have done so if not very strongly encouraged by one who must be obeyed - but that's ok. How would I ever know if blogging was my thing or not if I didn't at least give it a go?
Checked Google Scholar to find out more about who bloggers are, and found the following quote:
Bloggers are driven to document their lives, provide commentary and opinions, express deeply felt emotions, articulate ideas through writing, and form and maintain community forums.
I've occasionally had the urge to document my life - mostly when I was a teenager, spurred on diary given to me at Christmas by an aunt or grandma who was obviously at a loss as to what a sulky 13year old might actually be happy to receive. My diary keeping days usually only lasted to the end of the holidays at best. I could never think of anything to write - or to be more accurate - anything I wouldn't want my brother to read if the diary should fall into his hands.
So there - I've started a blog. Perhaps I'll add a photo for good measure - let's see if I can find a photo of a typical blogger...
